Good good father

Thankful to see how God just transforms lives. Jesus works in ways that no one can understand. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus deservers all praise. 🙌

Jesus has resurrection power. We have been given the same gift at the cross. Jesus’ blood redeemed us and as he was risen we were given the promised Holy Spirit. So the Spirit of (power, love, and sound mind) that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and lives in you. We are to me capable of living Holy Lives. This is all said by a sinner.

I used to be an atheist. God meets you were you are. His blood washes us clean daily and transforms us daily. If we choose to go through this challenging process. Basically daily deciding to live to bless others and not your own life.

I am blessed to understand to let go and let God do what He wants, when he wants. Its not about egos or pride. This is all truth. The truth that His Spirit of Revelation and His Spirit of Wisdom can give to anyone that decides to honestly seek him. “Seek the Lord and his virtue. Seek his face always.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

The word used for love/relationship in hebrew bible basically explains deep relationship. The type of deep relationship that you seek in your partner for life. God is waiting for people that want to know WHO HE REALLY IS.

The God I know…

God is a good good FATHER.

Love

Understanding

Giving

A father that loves us also instructs…

Teacher

Truth

Justice

Righteousness

We should feel bless to know and say daily that we are a child of God. Lets live to serve Jesus, who saves our life from a pit. Jesus (son of God) gave HIS life for us. He did it so we could be seated in heavenly places. To live on earth as it is in Heaven. Open heavens are all around us. We have to be willing to seek. Decide to seek Him and you shall find Him. My hunger for Him is never ending and that is how God allows us to see daily testimonies in our lives and the lives of others around us.

Idols

In the ancient times, idols were considered statues made of different materials like mud, gold, or silver. People would take time and adore them and pray to them. To this day some people still have these idols. The incredible thing is that we could give the place of an idol to many other things.

Entertainment and psychological analysis has been taking over the world. According to many psychological studies everything can be turn into an obsession, therefore becoming an idol in our lives. You can name a subject and there is a self help or dummies book or an online course to help you master the area you want to master in your daily lives.

The reality is that we are all made with different capabilities. What if you are trying to master something God wants to help you let go and let Him take over. He can have a better way than the way we developed in our own understanding.

When my first daughter arrived I remember all the books and online articles I read to be the best mom I could be. I wanted her to have the best of everything. I needed to know I was completely right, in every decision I made over her life. At the time I did not have a personal relationship with God. My thoughts when she arrived was “This is a small beautiful child that depends on me and does not come with instructions.”

Its easy to fall into these situations. All we end up doing is making an idol in our lives. Something that takes all of our daily time, effort, and energy in thought, could become your idol.

God gave us an awesome understanding of this when we kept seeking him in prayer. Our eldest daughter went through bullying to the extreme. That’s when God taught us that we had no control over her life. We were going to have to trust God with her life and decisions from now on. He closed all doors to be able to help our daughter on our own terms. Then we submitted in prayer a door open wide to get to educate the other kids parents on treating a girl with respect. It was a family mediation at a police station. These individuals were really afraid to be there due to a grade school incident. As a family that works in entertainment, the priority on moral values in this household was limited. I am sure this mediation helped all the kids involved understand how to treat each other within boundaries and respect.

My husband and I learned once more the power of prayer. We keep praying because we understand that our kids needs are all placed in our Creator’s hands. No need to obsess about their well being, just need to place everything in prayer and petition at all times. Let go and let God is something that my husband and I are adopting day by day. Oh and it is a work in progress. Sometimes we fall off the wagon of faith and just try to get back up as soon as possible.

These days Idols can be anything at all. Televisions shows, cooking, tablets, cell phones, facebook, instagram, youtube, laptops, cars, hobbies, or movies consuming so much time in a person’s life that they don’t have time to remain still and quiet to seek peace, love, joy, goodness, and so much more in their daily lives.

We don’t have it mastered yet and I know that its on purpose so we decide to submit in prayer and petition daily every decision and every life we care for. Only God has a better plan then the one we have. God can make everything better daily. To live in His perfect peace should be our daily goal.

Jesus bring your perfect peace to every thought and action today. Help me submit all my thoughts to you and your will in our lives.

Living daily testimonies

ER with my mom. She is in good spirits and going through a process. Her heart is acting up. She had never suffered from her heart before.

I dread being in a hospital because it means someone I love has to go through some type of process. On the other hand I love hospitals because I have experienced the most powerful God encounters and miracles.

Hospitals after my miracles and discovering faith are like treasure hunts for me. I am blessed to know that God uses us even when we can’t believe he will. That is the most beautiful thing about faith, it can be the size of a grain of a mustard seed and God can still wow someone when we remain obedient to serve.

A few years ago I went to this same hospital and felt really cold and it is extremely unusual for me to get cold so I decided to step outside for a little while. As soon as I walked out-side a lady was all curved up in a wheelchair, head down, I knew she was in a lot of pain. God warmed my heart towards her need for prayer. So in obedience I went to offer my prayer. Her husband got up quick and said, I already prayed. So in obedience I looked into her eyes and told her that I needed to be obedient toward God. So she said ok and I asked what happened. She explained that when she got home from church that night the garage door dropped on her and crushed her ribs. I asked were it hurt and she showed me. I said that I would pray now. Holy Spirit took over and made a very powerful loving prayer and all her bones set back to place in my hands, I felt it!!! I got to see all her results because she got up from her wheelchair and walk, she was also placed next to my mother and was told she was ok and that she could go home. To drink only Tylenol for the pain.

I have learned not to limit God, our God of miracles. For me its really hard to socialize but I still try to do it and bless others in the middle of my own insecurity. When I go against my nature that us when God can do what He wants. Like paul says: “in my weakness, He is made strong.”

❤️🔥Today I got to see these beautiful miracles. I am honored to testify!

A woman called Cathy got healed from skin rash and swollen arms and legs.

Another woman God decided to instantly heal her grief. Her sister dolores got the same love from Abba. Her whole family got to know Jesus’ love. They were united in the love for their mother. No grief was present, it was more love and rejoicing of being together for their mother as a family. 🔥❤️

God is so amazing. God is so faithful. Testifying is so necessary for our spiritual growth.

Rock your world

Oh, what a powerful understanding! I had to say this every time I would pray for someone. This is something the Lord had been teaching me constantly. Now I get to be obedient. My husband or my kids are my sidekicks when we go and bless whoever God sets out to bless.

Last night we got to go to another funeral. In this funeral my husband got to see one of his long time friends. A very nice veteran with a lot of history in and out of war zones in the middle east. He is a very elegant, honest, and humble person. He was explaining all medical complications due to trauma. Its amazing what these men have to go through in a war.

God definitely showed my husband this was a God encounter. So he started testifying about the God we know, the supernatural, always with us Jesus our redeemer. The guy was so hurt by religion he did not want anything to do with it. We mention about my position. I explained that I used to be a atheist and I did not believe in religion, that I believe in having a real relationship with Jesus. This made him listen.

That is when he started to be interested but not so convinced. I still went for what God wants which is to love even when they don’t know. God definitely showed up in prayer. He was just taking away all his trauma and past from his heart and filling him up with His amazing goodness and love. This man’s eyes where so moved and watery, I knew God had done what He came to do. He did not even want to let go of my hand. God is faithful. God is always wanting to love all his children.

After this gentleman, in that same funeral, a man started to speak to me while I was waiting for my husband. This man poured out his life traumas and his hurts so fast, I was amazed God wanted to heal someone else. This man let me know how he resented His father for being a violent drunk. He also resented God for loosing his mother, first to prison, and then dying early due to cancer. While his father continued his life without deserving it.

God through prayer opened his heart to release all that pressure and lifetime disappointments to pour into His spirit His love and goodness. With God’s love and healing this gentleman was moved. He was blessing my family and so thankful for such a moment. He was telling my husband how lucky he was to have me and my daughters. This is the love of God that was just poured into his heart, now he was just overflowing with God’s goodness and love for others.

God heals broken hearts.

God transform any situation.

God is waiting for us to let go and let God.

God is always available to bless and renew every one of His children.

I pray that God makes you feel His loving embrace through his wind. In Jesus name. Amen.

Walking silent waiting…

“Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with something observable; no one will say, ‘See here! ’ or ‘There! ’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Luke‬ ‭17:20-21‬ ‭

God loves our ability to remain still and quiet. It still takes a lot of practice. I can assure you that just concentrating in God and His will for us is such a challenge. I am the type of person that can’t stop talking or thinking. I am still learning, I guess that is what makes me so great at testifying and speaking about His miracles.

Nature, our Creator’s creativity just brings peace to my heart. ❤️ “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭

I am thankful because God takes one day at a time to teach us and challenge us. Choosing to seek Him first every single day is so worth it. The most incredible thing is that only through the love for others or the loved received from others is the strongest way I have Him closer to my heart these days. He knows exactly what I run away from and makes it more important for me.

God has seasons to teach you to remain quiet. God can choose another season to teach you to rest. God can also choose to teach us to remain in community. Oh wow! All I can say that for me, community is a challenge. I have made it my priority to remain alone and exclusive. Don’t know why! Maybe I can think a few reasons, but these are not worth mentioning.

So in this season I am learning how to stay in community. What a challenge! God keeps positioning me where I really do not want to be. I always knew the need for community to grow spiritually, I just did not know how much of a priority it was. So if I want to keep seeking the kingdom of God as a priority I will have to keep challenging myself to remain in community.

Thank You Jesus for speaking truth to my heart.

Loosing control

Truth of letting Him be the Creator, the Love, the Alpha and Omega.

Goal…

Giving God my heart daily to love Him and others through your Holy Spirit. No matter what! Die to myself daily.

No more questioning God!

There will be so many people hating God for all the “wrong” in this world.

He uses the challenges of life to show His incredible Glory and His never ending grace.

Yielding my Spirit Lord – I am at your will.

I don’t question God, I submit to God’s will.

God decides when He lifts up a life “before their time.” Its not for us to know times and seasons.

God decides if you get sick or get healed.

God decides if you keep your loved ones or He takes them away.

God decides which gifts you receive.

God decides how to Love each and every person you encounter.

Thank you Jesus for being the same forever. ❤️

I have been able to hear testimonies of one of the most hurtful situations a mother or a father has to go through. The acceptance of the loss of a child. To hear a very good friend say that she knows why God had taken her son. Is so amazing. God let her know that so many would be lost in this world without His short life testimony. Thank you Lord because you have a bigger plan that is beyond our earthly understanding.

Never forget to ask the Lord daily for:

Spirit of wisdom

Spirit of revelation

In the understanding of His kingdom.

May it be on earth as it is in heaven.

Thank you Lord, I once was blind and now I see.

Prayer walking with family

🦋🦅The Glory of God in nature.🦉🦋

To ask the Lord each day to open my spiritual eyes and ears, WOW TO BE ABLE TO SEE how the Kingdom of heaven gets so close… To be able to teach my husband and my beautiful miracle babies* to see what I see. This is what having Fun in faith is all about.

Let me set the scene. This was a beautiful afternoon walking in the park with my husband and my kids. My kids having fun using their bikes and scooters. I started Praising the Lord and praying all throughout our walk around the neighborhood and the park. When I got close to a corner in the park, it was sunset, God gave us this amazing show of nature. Three little birds singing and dancing right on top of our heads and in front of me. Such a beautiful scene. My girls were so exited to see such a beautiful subliminal moment in God. I tried to take a picture or video and the camera would not work. I have learned to enjoy what I am living and not try too hard to capture it with a camera, takes away the beautiful feeling of peace and love it brings. We did enjoyed the moment as a family.

My husband being the funny guy he is started to sing the Bob Marley’s song Three Little Birds. Oh and it was sooo for that moment. We laugh and enjoyed a family outing but we felt so secure under our Father’s wings. Rest is here by living in relationship 24/7. I just decided to put God first in everything I do.

Why 3 birds and not 1 or 2? God’s perfect number 3 is the number of perfection, or completion. I know in my heart and so does my husband and my girls, how the glory of God was in three little birds in the park walking with us. Such a peace and love that He and only Him can give us. When you keep walking in faith and work in your intimacy with God you can see Him in everything you do.

Imagine to walk the world knowing how secure you are under your Heavenly Father’s wings.

Read this scripture yesterday and I found this revealing passage about living in the light (living in Jesus.)

“Then after that, he said to the disciples, “Let’s go to Judea again.” “Rabbi,” the disciples told him, “just now the Jews tried to stone you, and you’re going there again?” “Aren’t there twelve hours in a day?” Jesus answered. “If anyone walks during the day, he doesn’t stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks during the night, he does stumble, because the light is not in him.””

‭‭John‬ ‭11:7-10‬ ‭CSB‬‬

This revealing passage about living in the light (living in Jesus) lets us know how secure we are loving Him above all else. Its a process to learn to love God but if you ask Him and humble before Him so He can teach you. Oh, He will!

Growing up around witchcraft and santeria I had this notion that darkness had more power in this world. Well to my knowledge and my peace God use a beautiful family full of love and the call of God to teach me how they could never experience darkness because they had always chosen to love God above all else. These incredible Christians received people and stray cats in their household to love and minister to their souls. Their LOVE was the testimony that help reveal to me this passage that lets us know that the darkness has no change against you when you are in love, head over heals, for our Father in Heaven.

“In him was life, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:4-5‬ ‭CSB‬‬

I keep seeking and keep being hungry to understand how the light is everything for every Christian. To reach this beautiful place where you know how secure you are under your Father’s wings is so liberating. I feel I can go to the middle east into battle and never be touched by a bomb or a bullet. Our Father’s calling on our lives is way bigger than anything violent festering around you.

OMG I just remember something else that happened regarding living secure and keeping your loved ones secure. Yesterday we went out to eat as a family. We had never been to this place. When we were going in we saw a lot of cops outside, they looked to be working and not there to eat. We tried to order some food but the lady did not look like she wanted to work or help us. My husband already was not feeling this place and I got sick to my stomach and knew we had to leave this place at once. So we cancelled the order and left. As soon as we were out of this area I felt better again. God has his ways of letting us know when we do not fit in or when we should leave a place. I am bless to have learned this throughout the years of learning to walk by faith and not by sight.

God thank you for opening our spiritual eyes and ears to the reality of your Kingdom. May your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you for teaching us how to maintain the Love for you. Thank you for teaching us to always ask for forgiveness of our sins daily. Thank you for using us as your yielded vessels to represent your Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.

Fun, yet still spiritual.

Two new challenges in my faith walk.

God is asking me to learn to have fun and to be the Carla I always was with my friends. 🤭

I think I started but really…

OMG I don’t even know where to start. Took this faith thing so serious for so many years, now I have to learn to have fun with it. 🙃 If you have any ideas were to start please comment!

Need to learn how to be more like this little miracle, God gave us. ❤️

So the next order of business to learn to rest in Him. This is something I had learned but for some reason I kind of forgot how to apply it somehow! This is when my husbands innate faith comes in handy. He gives so much knowledge and insight I can’t even understand because is so in Him because He grew up knowing He is always under the wings of the almighty. I did not grow up with this faith. As a believer we have to sometimes ask God to help with our unbeliefs. I can catch myself saying that quite a lot recently. I do not know why. I have read and experienced the most life changing testimonies, so I can’t understand why I landed on square one again regarding God’s rest. I love being His. I love learning and walking in faith. I admire my husband’s faith, and so many wonderful women of faith that are so armed and ready with an unchanging faith.

I believe that we have to wrestle to maintain the faith sometimes. I do ask myself: “even the ones that have been taught this from birth, do they stumble, but never say it?” If you know. Please let me know! 👇Commenting.

I am thankful for everything I have learned and I am so thankful for such an example of believers I have around me. No one is perfect. I have seen how much we just need to ask God to guide us to the best spiritual counsels He can give us. That is were I am right now!

I need a challenging and fulfilling spiritual counselor. One that is able to answer even the tough questions and that is even willing to call me out on my BS moments.

God thank you for great spiritual counselors in our lives willing to wrestle with life tough faith questions. Those that seek the gold in you even when you can only find ashes.
