WORDS that build UP

Affirmation is a powerful tool.

Want a better marriage?

Want a better relationship with your children?

Want a better relationship with people?

Love is the key to everyones hearts.

I only wish someone would have told me sooner the power of words in a child’s life. I am just so thankful I know now.

My marriage is taking a much needed “facelift” thanks to the power of words. Daily encouragement through words of affirmation is so powerful.

Lets all use it… be intentional!

Relationship and homeschooling

Relationship with Jesus is taking a road of friendship and joy. The way I see this is that when you least expected you are hanging out with Abba and don’t even notice it. I can see beyond my self sufficiency. I can see how much I need Abba now. I need Him to breath, I need Him to think, I need Him to work, I need Him to love, I need Him to laugh, and I also need Him to enjoy everyday.

My kids and I notice Him in everything around us now. We can see Him in a moving car. We can see Him in a homeless person. We can see Him in a sunset or a starry night. We are thanking Him for every opportunity we get to admire His creativity. We are understanding that beyond a friendship with Him is chaos and emptiness. We are understanding that letting go of Abba’s hand means to conform to a world that does not know how to love. Abba is love. We need His love and daily dosage of guidance to live.

I am thankful for every step He has turn in my ways through my life to make me start our homeschool process. Sometimes I just don’t know why He would ask this of me. Many times I am so thankful for the opportunity to see my kids flourish into very capable young girls. I get to teach them how to not only study but be part of a team daily to get stuff done.

I am thankful Abba has been transforming my mind for a long time now to be able to see the blessing in the chaos. I can see how at the end of the day He is the one to organize my schedule perfectly and make me feel as a Super mom. I know that I could never do this without my beautiful loving kids. They are the light of our house. They teach me joy daily. I know, I sure need it, hey! Who does not? Thank You Jesus. 💕

If we let go and let God take the reigns, life becomes fun. Even when you could never imagine yourself having the strength or the patience God is the one to do it all. I know that without Abba I am nothing. He is my patience, He is my reminder, He is my counselor, He is my helper, and so much more.

Pray with me, please…

Abba let me seek you every day with all my heart. Transform my ways to your ways.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Wisdom

Wisdom and understanding comes through meditating on Jesus (The Word of God). Always ask Holy Spirit to reveal truth, this are things you already know by heart but sometimes we need to review.

Revelation will come to you in your intimacy with the Lord. In your meditation He will offer what you need to contemplate on. With time His word is written in our hearts. God lets us access it. In intimacy with Jesus, who seeks a real relationship not a ritual. Jesus asks for transformation. Transformation means a process that can bruise and hurt… The end result makes it worthwhile, a promise becomes yours. Imagine believing that the blind can see. You will not doubt once if I should pray or not for a blind individual.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“My mouth speaks wisdom; my heart’s meditation brings understanding.”

Psalms 49:3 CSB

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will be healing for your body and strengthening for your bones.”

Proverbs 3:5-8 CSB

“I have filled him with God’s Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every craft to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every craft. I have also selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be with him. I have put wisdom in the heart of every skilled artisan in order to make all that I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on top of it, and all the other furnishings of the tent — the table with its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, the basin with its stand — the specially woven garments, both the holy garments for the priest Aaron and the garments for his sons to serve as priests, the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They must make them according to all that I have commanded you.””

Exodus 31:3-11 CSB

Seek wisdom, walking in Jesus love for others with all your heart. Everything else will be covered by our Father in heaven. I have lived it. My family is living proof that He is the God of the impossible. 🥰 Believe and you shall receive. 🦋

Please pray with me today…

God I ask for forgiveness of all of my sins, the ones I know and the ones I may not know about, we thank you for everything you do to change the nature in us that does not represent your kingdom purpose. Thank you for always correcting us with your love and understanding. Build us up to your understanding, your ways, your thoughts, in Jesus name . Amen.

Jesus loves you and so do I.

Believing = Receiving

I need to tell you a beautiful story. Now this story is not just a story, this is the adventure part of my walk with God.

Coming from being an enemy of God, like the song says His reckless love left the 99 to seek me and find me and bring me back to His kingdom purpose.

This walk has been for the past 11 years since I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior. I have been reading his bible since 2010. Today on October 27, 2018 I can say that I work daily on understanding His word and His promises. I have experienced His love, His peace, His joy, His goodness, His faithfulness, and today He confirm His security for me and for my future generations.

Today I went to take my well behaved and diligent children to the park. At this park we had just arrived. I was seeking God’s nature to see if I was lucky enough to find a butterfly’s cocoon for a picture. My girls were enjoying some swings in the distance and this man came up to them through a hole in the fence. I noticed this move and immediately headed to them. As soon as I got there the girls told me the man had ask them from the fencing to get him his glasses and to bring the glasses over. As soon as this man sees me walking towards him, he started telling me how he was just asking the girls if he had left his sunglasses in that area. This was not true because my kids don’t have a reason to make up what he said. So, I just said fine and did like if I was just walking to exercise and approach the car and took a picture of the license plate. At this exact same moment, a beautiful woman God had already highlighted to me when I got to the park walk up to me and another lady that notice the situation and immediately approached me and I ask her if she had seen that man walking the area before. She confirms she had not. This other lady God made walk all the way over from the other side of the park started to tell me how she is the leader of a group for fitness at the park and she knows the ones that can fix the fencing immediately and that the kids are safe because everyone in the park knows each other. So incredible how I was never afraid for my children, but I was for other children in the future. Why? I now know. I now see God’s truth over the worlds truth. I have been learning a few promises from the book of Joshua chapter 1. The most important one is that he gives you all place that your feet touches and no one can come against you because God is with us. He calls us to be courageous. This is what I am walking in a faith that believes His word over what the world wants us to believe. Paul says that we have to be transform by the renewal of our minds. He also explains in the New Testament that we should not conform to the ways of this world and that this world teaches us fear. The word says that Perfect Love cast out fear. I have been perfecting my love walk because I have been loving those who hurt me, those who persecute me, those who are poor and unwanted. God knows as long as I get an opportunity to love on someone, He calls me to I do it, I do, no questions ask. This is what happens. God’s favor was upon my family because he brought these 2 remarkable women of God. This lady the one God had highlighted from the beginning that came walking from really far away, being a doctor and having a hurt foot. God place her in my way, so I can know that another woman of God is using her time to bless each and every person that crosses her path. I told her how powerful the presence of the Lord was with her there. I explain how powerful her service was to me and my walk-in faith. Basically, told her where I came from: “Panic attacks always thinking the worst could happen to my kids.” Now I am a lion for Christ always serving putting His kingdom comes 1st (Matthew 6) and loving and trusting my kids to his powerful, loving, and graceful hands.

Please pray with me today…

God, we come boldly to the throne of your grace knowing you are with us and that you comfort us with your word and your truth revealed through your Holy Spirit. I place each and every person I love in your hands knowing Psalm 91 security, blessings, and promises are upon them. Thank you, Jesus for your freedom and the ability to have eyes to see and ears to hear in faith today and forever. Amen.

Fun, yet still spiritual.

Two new challenges in my faith walk.

God is asking me to learn to have fun and to be the Carla I always was with my friends. 🤭

I think I started but really…

OMG I don’t even know where to start. Took this faith thing so serious for so many years, now I have to learn to have fun with it. 🙃 If you have any ideas were to start please comment!

Need to learn how to be more like this little miracle, God gave us. ❤️

So the next order of business to learn to rest in Him. This is something I had learned but for some reason I kind of forgot how to apply it somehow! This is when my husbands innate faith comes in handy. He gives so much knowledge and insight I can’t even understand because is so in Him because He grew up knowing He is always under the wings of the almighty. I did not grow up with this faith. As a believer we have to sometimes ask God to help with our unbeliefs. I can catch myself saying that quite a lot recently. I do not know why. I have read and experienced the most life changing testimonies, so I can’t understand why I landed on square one again regarding God’s rest. I love being His. I love learning and walking in faith. I admire my husband’s faith, and so many wonderful women of faith that are so armed and ready with an unchanging faith.

I believe that we have to wrestle to maintain the faith sometimes. I do ask myself: “even the ones that have been taught this from birth, do they stumble, but never say it?” If you know. Please let me know! 👇Commenting.

I am thankful for everything I have learned and I am so thankful for such an example of believers I have around me. No one is perfect. I have seen how much we just need to ask God to guide us to the best spiritual counsels He can give us. That is were I am right now!

I need a challenging and fulfilling spiritual counselor. One that is able to answer even the tough questions and that is even willing to call me out on my BS moments.

Prayer for you and me…

God thank you for great spiritual counselors in our lives willing to wrestle with life tough faith questions. Those that seek the gold in you even when you can only find ashes.

Thank You, Jesus. Amen.

God loves you and so do I.
