Lets BELIEVE to be set FREE

Believe = Received

I live to make Jesus known.

When you intentionally decide daily to walk for the King of kings you are literally choosing a way that is different. When you decide to take your prayer intentionally and say YOUR WILL AND NOT MY WILL BE DONE, expect to be amazed!

“I can just imagine the disciples faces when Jesus set people free, open blind eyes, hugged a leper and cleansed His life inside out, delivered people from suffering, and healed the incurable.”

In my own walk of faith after a baptism of water and fire 11 years ago I have never stopped wanting to experience more and more of Jesus. I can say that my heart healing was in stages and not at all fulfilled in my baptism.

11 years later God decided to heal my mind from trauma suffered in my early twenties falling from a moving golf-cart. I could feel the Lord was completing what He started in my brain a while back.

How did this healing came to be? One night of desperation I was having suicidal thoughts and confessed my thoughts to my husband and God gave him discernment to find a preaching I needed to hear that night. In our desperation because of this horrible spiritual attack on my life we encountered the God of miracles for my own life.

Look at the contrast, God moves when there is real hunger, desire, and need for Him. In my desperation when my husband prayed for me led by the pastor online: I was completely healed and set free from physical trauma to my brain.

Now you are asking, how do you know this?

Years of having problems understanding how to plan, whenever you would ask me to follow directions with big manuals and curriculums that I purchased for my daughters homeschooling, I could not understand. I tried everything to understand and would end up finding other people or even other manuals to understand the curriculum. I would read certain books, especially the Holy Bible, and I could not understand what I was reading.

Oh, BUT GOD! He did it! In one prayer of desperation due to suicidal thoughts I was completely set free from that affliction. I had felt the power of God move in the presence of that pastor’s anointing, during the prayer my brain moved and I knew that something had changed forever.

The next day I tried my brain. The pastor had encouraged the ones healed should challenge their healing by doing things they could not do before. I did! I started reading everything I did not understand before! It WORKED! I was so amazed! How God uses everything for our good. I am so thankful for that spiritual attack in my life. I can think and act differently now.

Praise Jesus! Praise Jesus! Praise Jesus!

Remember that if you decide to believe you also can receive. So if you have ever been through a traumatic accident where your brain might have been compromised or hurt, lets pray for your own miracle!

Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit I come boldly to the throne of grace for the person reading this message. As you did for me, whatever healing this person needs I come asking you to pour out your fire of healing and restoration in Jesus name. Amen.

Be or not to bee

Bee lives 14 to 28 days.

A bee lives but a few days and visits daily a total of 5,000 flowers to pollinate them. What an impact this little faithful worker leaves. In such a short life this little bug makes it possible for many flowers, fruits, and vegetables to fulfill their purpose. The bee is not selfless in the act of pollinating all these flowers. These bees have in mind a bee hive to feed and help maintain.

The battle to keep the faith is a strong one. The idea that we need one another to fulfill the purpose God gave us on this earth should not be a shock. Bees need each other to build the amazing beehives they construct. The Kingdom of God is not just to have a nice time together but to practice righteousness, peace, and joy in Jesus Christ. Why would you need righteousness when you reach heaven? It all starts here on this side of eternity. The Lord molds our character to become more and more like His son Jesus. The day you are judge, you will be judge for your actions and your deeds. Are you heading in the right direction?

I loved a movie called Gladiator when the main actor quoted: “what we do in life, echoes in eternity.” Yes how right he is in what he is saying. For everything that we do, think, and say has a way to impact the life we live and the legacy we leave for our next generations.

My prayer for us today is…

May we choose to be as selfless and as a willing servant for all who need our encouragement or our help. May we submit to love one another as much as we love ourselves. May we learn to love who’s we are in order to love others the way they deserve. May we choose the will of our Heavenly Father above our own always. May we have an impact on souls as the bee does with such a little lifespan. In Jesus name. Amen.

All about my Father’s business

Jesus at 12 years old new His purpose…

“And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”

Luke 2:49 KJV

We are all called to the same purpose yet with different gifts and talents to save others on this fallen earth.

Lets refocus on what the Lord has called us to…

We are called to walk like Jesus…

We are called to care for the needy, the orphan, and the widow…

This is our Father’s business.

Our hearts should be concentrating on Jesus’ perfect love for us to be able to overflow for others that same love.

Our lives should show that we walk His mercy and His grace for others to see and know that God is a constant rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Jesus intentionally calls us to put His Kingdom first and that everything we would ever need He will cover it! (Matthew 6:33) This is why Jesus put the needs of others above His own. In our “selfie nation” I know this is a challenge. Yet it is what Jesus calling was…

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

When Jesus started His ministry He said the most important message of all… “Repent for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2) Original written word in the Bible “repent” meant to change your mind.

Renew your mind later the Apostle Paul explains we should keep our eyes, ears, and mouths on things above and not bellow. (Kingdom thoughts that Philippians 4 explains: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 KJV) All this according to the fleshly desires of this world is a bit difficult to keep up with. I know I worked on what would came out of my mouth for 3 years and I am still a work in progress. To die to the ways of this world can only be completely relying on our Father in Heaven in relationship guiding our every step. I no longer curse yet I am not perfect and if I do I repent and turn my mind and actions towards my Father’s ways.

Jesus was walking the Kingdom of heaven here on earth. (John 3:13 KJV) He explains this to Nicodemus and even lets him know that he would not understand heavenly things. All this is accessible through the confession of our sins and being born again by baptism of water and Holy Spirit. When we decide to love God with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our strength, and all of our soul. He reveals everything we need to know about His ways. When we decide not to question His goodness. When we decide to repent immediately if we think against His ways. This is when we can have a deeper maturing relationship with our Father in heaven. This is when we can see that His kingdom can come close. Ask for it as Jesus did constantly in prayer, Our Father’s prayer has a purpose, it paves the way… Jesus paved the way of how to access the kingdom to be a yielded servant. “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 KJV

Through our inheritance “Holy Spirit” we have been given a kingdom to walk out on this earth as servants of the most High God. You can read about it in Daniel…

“And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.” Daniel 7:27 KJV

🙏May you walk your purpose now dedicating everything you do to the King of Kings / Lord of Lords to live everlasting life from this side of eternity as a servant of the most High God. In this everlasting life we abide in His Secret Place where we are safe and protected from all the plagues of this world like the Israelites in Goshen, and also like the Israelites in the desert for 40 years.

God’s will…

Thank you Jesus that you form us in our mother’s wombs and you knew us, loved us, and called us before the foundations of the earth. 🙌The God of the impossible is our Father. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice to be daughters and coheirs. Thank you Abba for the truth of your word. Thank you for your love and mercy.

““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Holy Spirit truth to our hearts…

I asked for faith in prayer many times… Jesus is the word! What we say has the power to build up or tear down our faith. Jesus came to die on that cross because He knew His blood would give us back the gift of full access to a relationship with God. God is faithful and all His promises are yes and amen. His will is written all throughout the Holy Bible…

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Holy Spirit truth reveal to me through my testimony…

The cure for any illness even when that person is “not cured” is an expectant heart ❤️ full of Christ’s Hope. Believing to receive. We press on believing for one another. God’s will is that all may be saved.

““Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who *believes* in him may have eternal life. For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who *believes* in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his *Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.* Anyone who *believes* in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not *believe* is already condemned, because he has not *believed* in the name of the one and only Son of God.” John‬ ‭3:14-18‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Jesus prayed this powerful prayer as an example for us… Asking for heaven on earth…

“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Through my own walk of faith knowing Abba and seeing His miracles of healing and restoration. 🙌All glory be to Jesus, Lord of Lords, King of Kings.🙌

Jesus asked the Father that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I lived it through my cancer. “I asked fervently for faith and not to have pain in my surgery, I experience no pain.” I believe this because I lived it. I also asked the Lord to heal quickly because I needed to start my new job. Open face surgery to remove my cancerous tumor. I was healed in less than 2 weeks and the recovery was supposed to take more than a month. Only God can do this for us. Asking and believing. I did not go to any Sunday school growing up. I only had the promises of healing as my light and I read them so many times during my process.

His will comes by our measure of faith. We all know that in heaven their is no division, no war, and no sickness. Jesus want us to believe that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I pray today…

Lord thank you for your Holy Spirit that always brings truth to our hearts. Thank you Jesus that we are those friends with open hearts that grab the “Paralytic” the ones that can’t believe or don’t have the strength take themselves in faith to your feet, and we all have faith for him or her through Your mercy in us acting as friends to take Him to your feet, for healing without doubting. “But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Believing without doubting…

As Jesus said: As you believe so it will be done…

“Then Jesus told the centurion, “Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that very moment.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:13‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Some healings take longer than others and sometimes God decides to take a life early but this should not change our measure of faith for one another… Lets keep pressing on and speaking truth and life through the word of God to our friends and family who need healing and restoration.

“Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.” James‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans‬ ‭8:27‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Our hearts will be considered when we pray for one another and when we truly believe for one another. God is love. Why did God decide not to end the life of all Israel in the desert, because Moses intercedes in prayer with a humbled heart for His nation not to perish. One man had the faith for many! Lets be that man. Jonas also intercedes in prayer for Ninive and God changed His will, God decided not to destroy the city. Lets intercede for Puerto Rico. Lets be fervent in prayer believing full restoration. God changes the hearts of people to do according to His will. To walk in love for one another the most important commandment. Always walk in LOVE.

“Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”” Matthew‬ ‭13:31-32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He wants us to grow as trees in faith to be the words of love, encouragement, and peace on this earth to lift each other up, know we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians)

The real war is in your mind

You can put faith in God, or you can put faith in the “dark side.” You decide daily who you walk for. When we pray it’s important to think ahead of time what we are praying for. Make sure what you are asking for is from a love perspective. Why? We are all God’s creation and He loves us all and He is always loving and seeking His lost sheep. This may be a shocker to some but this is truth. When God was crucified on the cross He was also crucified for the pedophile, the prostitute, and the criminal. At the moment of the crucifixion, the criminal next to Him noticed the injustice of what Jesus went through without deserving it, He was moved to defend Him. Jesus moved the heart of a criminal on the cross, by believing in Him and because His heart had mercy for our savior, Jesus told Him that they would be together in paradise when all their process was over. Jesus is just waiting for us to believe in Him. Jesus is waiting for us to understand His goodness, His love, His sacrifice, and His plan for our present and our future. It’s important to understand the sin crucified in His flesh.

Thank you, Jesus for the truth of your word. God you are teaching us the truth that we need to understand to live in freedom. The truth is to live for others (overflow) and not for ourselves. We have to live in the fullness of God, understanding who God is and what He came here to do. “And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16

I pray this prayer in Ephesians 3: 14-19 expressed by the apostle Paul over our lives now… “For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The devil wants you to believe He has power over the God of the universe influencing your life, that is His calling. His deception goes way beyond what we could imagine. “…He is a master of deception and the father of lies!” (John 8:44 TPT) The devil is under the dominion of God. Whatever happens good or bad God permits. To live a long life and have salvation (not saying free of difficulty) we have to say every day to God that we trust Him, this takes you to His secret place (peace that surpasses all understanding awaits you there) and he will take away your fear, anxiety, depression, insecurity, and all illnesses. All these promises are in Psalm 91. Again to receive the promises of God we have to meditate on His words in the Holy Bible, written by men that love and believe in the Lord.

Satan wanted the power of God from the beginning. Satan planted a thought in Eve’s mind that gave fruit to disobedience. Careful who you listen to. Remember good or evil travels by the power of thoughts and words. Satan was expelled from heaven, so He did not want man to live on earth having a fruitful relationship with God. Satan lost his privileges in heaven and did not want anyone to have anything he could not have. God sent the devil to earth and created us to torment the devil by creating billions of people in His own image. If you submit to God, the devil runs.  “So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you.” (James 4: 7 TPT) The key is to live a life surrendered to God. We choose if we want to be living for our own wants or we choose to live a life of service to God by putting others as a priority. Daily we choose if we live for ourselves or we live to bless other people along the way. May God help you make the right choice daily. Prayer is key to knowing God. Prayer is to talk to God. Start today. 

41kfehg4kilThere is a spiritual battle that we are part of whether we wish to be part of it or not. The battle comes from the power over your mind, thoughts, and your words. The devil wants to ruin God’s creation since Eden. His calling is to ruin your life. We will not experience unhealthy fear when we submit to God. God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him throughout our day. How can we do this? We have to build the WILL to want to read His word, speak to Him (prayer), and praise Him. God wants to be part of our daily tasks. Speak or sing to God while you cook, clean, drive, study, work, etc. These “simple acts” of obedience bring you to his secret place. The promise in Psalm 91:4 says: “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

Please pray with me now,

Father, Abba, thank you for your love. We thank you for your truth that sets us free. Lord please reveal more truth to our hearts and remove all the things that have damaged them in any way. Lord thank you for changing our lives to live by your word and your guidance. Lord I thank you that only by asking for wisdom you give it to us. Thank you, Lord, for the truth of your salvation. Thank you for renewing our strength and our understanding that your ways are way better than our ways even when they seem like deep water and storms. Lord we trust you in the midst of these trouble waters knowing you set us in the course you know is truth for us.

Wisdom

Wisdom and understanding comes through meditating on Jesus (The Word of God). Always ask Holy Spirit to reveal truth, this are things you already know by heart but sometimes we need to review.

Revelation will come to you in your intimacy with the Lord. In your meditation He will offer what you need to contemplate on. With time His word is written in our hearts. God lets us access it. In intimacy with Jesus, who seeks a real relationship not a ritual. Jesus asks for transformation. Transformation means a process that can bruise and hurt… The end result makes it worthwhile, a promise becomes yours. Imagine believing that the blind can see. You will not doubt once if I should pray or not for a blind individual.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“My mouth speaks wisdom; my heart’s meditation brings understanding.”

Psalms 49:3 CSB

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will be healing for your body and strengthening for your bones.”

“I have filled him with God’s Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every craft to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every craft. I have also selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be with him. I have put wisdom in the heart of every skilled artisan in order to make all that I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on top of it, and all the other furnishings of the tent — the table with its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, the basin with its stand — the specially woven garments, both the holy garments for the priest Aaron and the garments for his sons to serve as priests, the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. Seek wisdom, walking in Jesus love for others with all your heart. Everything else will be covered by our Father in heaven. I have lived it. My family is living proof that He is the God of the impossible. 🥰 Believe and you shall receive. 🦋

God I ask for forgiveness of all of my sins, the ones I know and the ones I may not know about, we thank you for everything you do to change the nature in us that does not represent your kingdom purpose. Thank you for always correcting us with your love and understanding. Build us up to your understanding, your ways, your thoughts, in Jesus name . Amen.

Meditating on 37

So much truth and promises. I just had to share the pure gospel that opens our hearts to the possibility of living in daily peace, joy, love, hope, and so much more.

Meditate on Psalm 37 today, learn to lean in and understand what Holy Spirit will teach you. Ask Holy Spirit to guide your heart to His truth and His understanding. God will direct your path if you allow Him. Life in His truth is so liberating from the selfie nation concept we live in. The most famous people and the wisest of all time have always believed in something bigger than themselves to be able to be inspired and transformed into courageous heroes for man kind.

Do not be agitated by evildoers;
do not envy those who do wrong.

For they wither quickly like grass
and wilt like tender green plants.

 

Trust in the Lord and do what is good;
dwell in the land and live securely. 

Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

I have seen a wicked, violent person
well-rooted, like a flourishing native tree.

Then I passed by and noticed he was gone;
I searched for him, but he could not be found.

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord,

Please pray with me today,

Thank you Holy Spirit for teaching me today, please never stop building me up on the Truth that is Jesus. Please give us eyes to see and hearts tuned to hear your truth. In Jesus name. Amen.

YOLO vs love…

Unity in prayer is so powerful, and we need it now more than ever.

God wants us praying for one another. Loving one another. Respecting one another. This is a very different perspective from the YOLO (you only live once) generation approach. This incredible change of mind comes from God’s love helping us daily to forget our wants and refocus on the needs of others. Daily deciding in prayer to tell God we want to do His will and not our own. Trust me everyone wants to do God’s will. There is love, security, peace, and riches (in glory) beyond your wildest dreams at His feet. Again, the awesome part of this way of life is that blessings will be abundant in your life, as soon as you place others before you. In the bible you will find in 1 John 4:11 “Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and his love is made complete in us.” If you want to live for God is all about loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. This is a challenge in this day and age where the era of social media tells us that we should have to be a certain way and meet some society standards to be acceptable. So, according to this way “we can only put our minds to work, to live according to these world’s expectations.” Well to be truthful, I don’t know about you, but that is exhausting.

Die to self
God has been so faithful that He made us his children (through the blood of Jesus), this way we would understand that we need to treat each other as brothers and sisters. Today a respectful family is supposed to be defined by representing love and understanding always making a bank of grace for each other’s faults. We are humans and we all make mistakes. Some people live a double life and others choose to be transparent. God wants from us to be able to walk our testimony daily. I have not hidden mine from the world. I once was lost and now I am found. I once was blind and now I see. When we decide to serve Jesus, He uses our weaknesses to boast in His power of transformation, through our daily change. This makes a lot of people uncomfortable, because you are representing His light, His love, His way. From my own perspective, I have seen that it is hard for many Christian to understand why God would give so much to a sinner, but not to them. This is the wrong perspective. We cannot see others and try to have their lives or their faith. The story of the lost son (Prodigal son) that came back, and the father rejoiced, but the older brother got upset that the brother was exalted for returning safe to His father. The brother could only see that  his brother wasted his inheritance and did all the wrong things with the money he waisted. The father could not see with his other son’s eyes because he could only rejoiced that he found his lost sheep. God does not see any difference between the nun and the prostitute. According to the kingdom of God and the love He has to share with us, it’s the same measure and importance for both. This is how scandalous grace can be. God will love the respectful parent with the best resume in the world, but he will also rejoice and love without measure the pedophile that decides to come back to His arms. Please do not treat some people nice and discard the other just because they don’t meet your standards of the way everyone should live. Did Jesus ask the prostitute washing his feet at a banquet with “someone important” to leave? No he did not! He enjoyed that she made others feel uncomfortable to show how God loves to make us love others in the uncomfortable  circumstances. In the moments we are doing what we would normally avoid, that is when His love, shines the most.

God,

I thank you for opening my spiritual eyes to see that your ways are not my ways. I thank you for renewing my mind to love you and others the way you love me. Thank you for your grace and your understanding. Thank you for giving me your wisdom daily.

If God is powerful.

Where is the power?

People say certain things when you finish praying for them. One of the comments I have heard people telling me in church: “may He continue using you with power.” I don’t see it that way. God is the one with power and He uses all who are submitted to His will. All I can see when acting in prayer is the need and the love of helping another soul find healing and love through God’s presence. Matthew 10:8 “Freely you received, freely give.” The power comes from the love you have for God and others. Jesus explained that the basic works of his kingdom on earth as it is in heaven is activated through faith, loving God above all else and our neighbor as much as we love ourselves. This means that to see the power of God you have to die to your self-love. Living in a selfie nation this is hard to process for any individual. This is the call to action that Jesus set before us more than 2000 years ago. We can see, we can live, we can act in “the power” of God through a sincere humble heart, helping, and loving each and every person that crosses our path.

Sincerity of the call to walk in godliness…

It’s a daily sacrifice to die to yourself indulgence. We live in a world that has taught us since we were very young to believe in praise for a job well done. The world has taught us to believe that we deserve a treat or instant gratification for a job well done. When in reality God called us to serve. God asks of you and me to be servants to others as Jesus did when he walk this earth only to bless, heal, free the oppressed, love the rejected, accept the unacceptable in each and every individual He met along his path. Jesus is our perfect example of what God expects of us. The charities all across the world represent all the people that have understood that we have a short time to live on this earth and we do not take any possessions with us the day we pass away. This is the reality of our humanity. Now when you realize who our Father is. What He offers through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. You will understand that this earthly life is nothing compared to the glory set before Him. You can live in “power” on earth as it is in heaven but it does mean to work on loving God above all else and everyone else above yourself.

God I ask you to help change my heart to want exactly what you want for me and others.

Thank you for renewing our mind and our hearts to align with your kingdom purpose.

Thank you for writing your commandments deep in my heart.

Thank you for your grace, wisdom, knowledge, and truth available throuh faith in Jesus.

Thank you for opening my spiritual eyes to see the riches of your glory on earth as it is in heaven.

Love walk…

God loves you. God has a love for us that he would go to ends of the earth literally to make sure He gets to meet us and love us. God kept on seeking me in the midst of my disaster. God wanted me to be in Love with the Creator. God wanted me to put Him first. God knew that if I put Him first my life would align perfectly for the destiny he had in store for me. Each individual has his own faith walk. Daily abandoning yourself in your Creator’s hands is key. Imagine getting everything you ever wanted. Imagine trusting the Lord even when the circumstances tell you that nothing will work out. This is what submitting to His will means. Trusting in the doubt. Trusting in the storms of life. Peter went walking on the water in the middle of the storm because Jesus told him it was ok. So, why did Peter started to sink? What happened to his faith? What caused his unbelief? He looked away from Jesus to see the powerful storm and got scared. God is asking us to keep our eyes set on things above and not bellow. We can only do this if we choose that mentality daily. God’s word explains that we should renew our mind. This is a daily task. God gave us His word to guide us and to be our sword in our time of need. What are we fighting? I have come to the conclusion that most of our fights are generated in our minds. The devil has moved in our minds for years with radical ideas that take our minds away from God’s love and to make sure we adopt a fear mentality. We have to choose daily to read the bible and seek the word that helps us with what we are dealing at the moment. If it is anxiety go to Philippians 4, if you are dealing with fear read psalm 91, and if you are needing love become love to receive it without measure by reading daily 1 Corinthians 13.

I ask the Lord daily to help me die to myself. It has been quite a journey. To walk in the Spirit of God is to learn to be a yielded vessel. God can flow through us when we submit to His will knowing too well that he forgave all our sins and its through grace that we walk with Him. This means that our own wants and needs are set aside, and we put on our God’s attributes to serve Him and His wants and needs. The incredible thing is, that once you learn to die to your self-love, you begin to love God above all else and want the same things God wants. I know for a fact that every day is a new opportunity to start over and become that yielded vessel. God is waiting for!

Pray this prayer with me:

 

Father I choose You above myself.

Jesus come into my heart and make your home inside of me.

Holy Spirit guide me to understanding and wisdom on how to love.
